Why Take This Challenge?

Where is your heart? Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:21 that “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will be also” and a few verses earlier Jesus suggests that we should store our treasures, or our hearts, in heaven where they are safely protected by him. God doesn’t need our money, but he wants our hearts. Not just a portion of our hearts. God wants our whole hearts! When we give more of ourselves to God, when we give more of our hearts to him, we will be more richly fulfilled, more blessed, and find more joy. As a church, Central wants that for you as well.

Are you ready to make a commitment to God and take your next step with our Generosity Challenge? Prayerfully consider what God wants you to do. Through this Challenge, you will be encouraged to begin giving or to increase your giving over a 90-day period. If you don’t feel you have experienced God’s blessing through the challenge, we will refund your gifts over those 90 days, with no questions asked.

PRAYER: God, thank you for the incredible gifts you provide. We surrender our lives to you. Please transform our hearts so that generosity becomes a natural part of every day life. Unleash your joy within us as we become more like you. In Jesus name, amen.

Commitments

  1. I am trusting God’s faithfulness by accepting the 90-Day Generous Heart Challenge.
  2. I/my household will give to God through Central Church by taking a next step in my Generosity Journey.
  3. For my giving to be properly recorded and credited as part of the 90-Day Generous Heart Challenge, I understand that I will need to give in an accountable manner, such as:
    a. Give through Central’s online giving platform (or)
    b. Give through Central’s Generosity Team at my church location (or)
    c. Put my name, address, and phone number on any check or cash envelope submitted.
  4. I do expect that my/our generosity will result in the blessings God promises. However, I understand that Central will accept my refund request, with no questions asked, if it is received within 30 days following the end of the 90-Day Generous Heart Challenge period, by contacting our Generosity Team at generosity@centralchurch.online or by calling/texting 702-440-8313.
